I took these on 6-18-08 Click on photos for better viewing I was in the house when i looked out the window to see that almost the same formation was still there but now with color, and i also thought these 3 little clouds looked a lot like flying saucers
Happy SWF! We had the sky up there, all speckled with stars, and we used to lay on our backs and look up at them, and discuss about whether they was made or only just happened... mine's up too hope you can drop by.
Wow these are amazing photos. It looked like alien had landed....lol Wondered why the clouds looked like they were twisted on the 1st and 2nd photos. Very amazing.
So many nice shots:) If it was me I would have saved some of them for next week;) I find it so difficult to come up with a little bit nice shot every week...and you...you put them all in one post!!! Petunia's SWF post
Oh, excellent altocumulus lenticularis pics! Those clouds travel very slowly and there is usually quite clear air with no other clouds. It´s good to follow them a long time as the forms might change to quite odd and interesting.
What lovely clouds! Thanks for your welcome and comment on my first SWF. We are building a community Temple in an area hit hard by urban blight. The info and link is in the post below. Bright Blessings, Leah
