Second night of a disappointing photo but at least it is a lot better than the first posting of the sun. At least this you can see some color and it looks like the sun was cut in half.Sorry this photo is blurry not sure what happend there.
I am not sure what setting i had this one on, but it does not look all that pretty like the rest.

ReplyDeleteI know it's not exactly the way YOU viewed it with the naked eye but it's still very very beautiful... I have the same problem with my camera. I think I have to invest in a better camera and/or invest in a program such as Photoshop to help aid in making the photos "pop" out much brighter and dramatic... that is what many folks out there do.... but as I said before... these photos still look amazing just the way they are!

ReplyDeleteI love the colors fo your pictures. This sun cut in half is very unusual for who knows look at the Nature. I love #2 with 2 different colors in the both half! Surreal!

ReplyDeleteAs far as cameras and camera settings are concerned, I am a firm believer that it is worth experimenting with the settings, even with the cheapest digital cameras. Try, try again, thankfully all it takes is your time and patience, to find out the best settings for various light siuations.

ReplyDeleteThis makes me think of how life is. We sometimes see it one way, but when we want to share it with another, it can be interpreted as completely different. Your camera did the interpreting for you.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience of shooting into the sun you have to manually set your camera. It has a hard time adjusting to the harsh light versus dark, kind of like our eyes. It's best to take all auto controls off and adjust; with digital you can see the effects while changing the aperture and shutter speed.

ReplyDeleteI liked the colors and the split sun. I feel your pain, but there has been some comfort in that a few of the "mistakes" yielded an unexpected treasure.

The colours often disappoint when you take them, as the camera doesn't see exactly what you see.
