Your Skywatch Team:Klaus | Sandy | Ivar | Wren | Fishing Guy| Louise
Monday we went shopping and i just so happened to bring my camera, and here are a few shots of the mountain with this nice fluffy cloud hanging over it.If you click on the photos they look much better
And as we were coming back, this is what the clouds looked like, Looks like a funnelAnd here is a closer look of that beautiful fluffy cloud . So far we don't have enough snow to open the ski lodge for skiers and they say another week before there is any snow to come. Sure is cold today .

Oh, I bet your just happened to have your camera along. I think you're like me and take it everywhere. Love these photos, they are a great Sky Watch.
ReplyDeleteThat mountain is the most amazing looking thing. I've honestly never seen anything like it. The mountains I've seen don't look like that.
ReplyDeleteNature is truly beautiful! Happy weekend! Hope you get time to visit my corner too...
ReplyDeleteGreat snowy mountain and sky shot.
ReplyDeleteI love the first picture. It evokes peace.
ReplyDeleteVery nice - especially the clouds over the mountain in the last image are great!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
Great pictures. I love how the cloud defines the shape under it.
ReplyDeleteIt is so picturesque.
Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteIts beautiful how the clouds blanket and drape and seemingly care for the mountain.
ReplyDeleteClouds, snow and mountains make for good photography
ReplyDeleteI love the mountain in the back drop and the way you have the fence line, and shed. It looks like such a nice open space with such great scenery behind it.
ReplyDeleteHappy SWF.
Beautiful! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that first one! That mountain is Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI may forget my keys and wallet, but never my camera! The last picture is awesome...what a beautiful blanket of cloud on the mountain. Our ski hills are open, but they are just that... hills, not mountains.

ReplyDeleteA grand picture.
ReplyDeleteToys... yes, and I/we gave up everything to live the simple life not so long ago.
How stunning! you live in a very beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteGreat view, I wonder what the "for sale" sign says.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! The first shot is my favorite. I can't imagine going around a bend in the road and seeing that final shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's!!
ReplyDeleteTake care and have a great weekend!!
That cloud is sitting on the mountain the way whipped cream sits on top of a sundae! All that is missing is the cherry! I'd be happy to send you our snow .. we have over a foot now and it is still falling - but my power is still on! *|*
ReplyDeleteInteresting cloud formations. It sure does look cold out there. With such beautiful scenery, drivers can get distracted.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, there are no treasures on Treasure Island as far as I know. According to one website, it was called that because the dirt for the man-made island came from "gold-laden dirt washed down from the Sierras into the Bay."
As we say in the flying world, that's a cumulo-granite cloud. Not a good one to fly into. I invite you to come see the skies over Powell Lake in British Columbia. -- Margy
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful photos, Lilli!
ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful, to be sure!
ReplyDeleteYour mountain is quite an amazing hulk, and quite enchanting covered by that soft fluid cloud.
