Sky Watch Friday

I took these on 7-15-08 another one of those shots with the sun Red Hot ,Still can't capture that red in the sun so guess i have to settle for these. Thank you to those that gave me some tips. I really appreciate them.

  10. Hey, I saw that same sky up here (near Chicago) just a week ago. If I remember right, we got rained on, too.

    The middle shot looks like a laser cannon blasting through the trees. It looks plenty red to me!

  19. Oooo... I'm seeing the fiery red of the sun!! We've been getting some pretty wicked sunsets from the forest fires but the mountains are too big for me to capture the sunsets... LOL

  38. The sedond on looks like you got it better. But none the less great sky watch photos. After all it is about the sky and how it never looks the same.
    Keep on shooting and eventually you will get what you want.

  46. Great sunset. Wonderful colors, according to me. Nobody has to publsh perfect shots, otherwise I wouldn't participate.
    I like the first one, this kind of fog (real or not) gives an atmosphere.

  77. I have been to Bend, Orgeon, a beautiful place. I love the Orgeon mnountains and coast. This week the skies in SWF have been fiery and I love seeing all of them.
