I have a good friend who lives in Crooked River Ranch. I'm assuming it's the same place. She moved there from California and loves it there. I still hope to visit her one of these days.
To answer your question about the pot of boiling bugs, I'm not quite sure what they were, but they looked like larvaes. And, I didn't buy or eat any. :D
Greetings from Juneau, Alaska! Wow, what a beautiful shot of the Sisters. I remember as a child driving by these mountains on our many adventures to eastern Oregon.
We always made a pit stop at the Crooked River Bridge. It's definitely not the place for those scared of heights.
The geology of this region is absolutely amazing. Hopefully nothing will come of the "bulge" near the Sisters. Have a great Saturday!:)
Hi Lilli! I’m glad I could take some time to get to your wonderful blog! This time to be rewarded with an awesome picture of the sister mountains... ;)) Loved it! Want to have a look at a magic place: Delos, Apollo’s birthplace and home to Dionysus sanctuary? Blogtrotter has it! ;)) Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!
