National Dog Day

Today is National Dog Day, Please join Jan by posting a photo of your favorite dog photoHere is my Pom Miss Princess Cocoa, she is probably the best dog i have ever had, so smart. Her favorite thing is to play ball, mention ball and you have made a friend. She loves people and can't get enough attention from them.

Camera Critters

Ok another cat i don't need, the guy next door came by yesterday and asked me if i had a kittie, i said nope. He said there has been one hanging around his place the last few days, he has a cattering business. Anyway he said i think its really hungry, of course he wouldn't feed it, and being the animal lover i am i just can't let an animal go hungry. Well you can tell the poor thing was starving, his little ribs were just sticking out there, he acted like he wanted to be petted but as soon as you got close he would take off, so i got some food, water and oh my he was in heaven, he just ate and ate. Have no clue as to were he came from as its not like we have houses around here.
Well he started going under the 5th Wheel but would come out just to eat and run off when you tried to touch him, finally tonight when i went down to feed him he still didn't let you near him, so later my son called me and said do you want me to try to catch it as he is right by me, i said yes, well here he is and what a loving kittie he is, just loves all that petting , he now is laying in the cage all full and somewhat relaxed trying to sleep. A belly full and yes he is loved, oh dear does someone close by want a loving kittie, i already have 10 and one more day of having him i won't be able to let it go.
Ok so i am getting some really bad looks from the other kids not good right?
Here is son scratching his chin, i have a little potty box in there just in case he has to potty,Oh dear Princess is having a few words about all this, sittin on the couch looking and growling. Kind of funny
Look at those pretty eyes, how can one resist?A couple of towels a nice clean towel a full belly, what more can a kittie who got lost ask for.

Sky Watch Friday

I took these Wed night as we have been having some pretty good storms the last few days, having temperatures to 104 on the weekend and then going to this, although it isn't cold it makes for humid days that we are not used too.

Odd Shot Monday

The other night i was after a moon shot, and this is what i ended up with. Pretty Odd i thought.

Sat night we spent 4 hours in the ER pet clinic, boy never thought there was the same kind of wait like in a regular ER, but i guess pets get sick as much as us humans.
My Princess had not been feeling well for a few days, and throwing up once in awhile. Didn't think much about that the first day or the second as she was still pretty perky and wanting to play ball, so blamed a lot of it on the heat we have been having, but then Sat evening she went potty on her pee pad, it was all bloody. Scared me to death. So off we went to the ER, Well not sure what it is, but they put her on antibiotics, and put fluids in her, We thought maybe some of the water she drank up at Newberry Crater might of got to her. Well she seems to be better today. She is on a bland diet for a few days .Going to watch her real close for a while.

And on that drive we ran into so many Monarch Butterflies all over the place, many were flying right into
the car. Lots were on the ground.

Here is Oliver on Nevada's lap is that a big cat or what?Ok so this isn't a real pig but isn't she cute? And very life like don't you think? I named her Esmeralda she is one of my yard ornaments.
So we bought a new couch the other day as McMans is going out of business here in town. Thinking we would have a lot of places to sit now, having just a love seat before. But what do you see? A Bunch of cats taking up the whole darn couch. UGH!

I am not usually up to get much of a good sunrise shot as i never get to bed before midnight, but this shot was taken Sat Morning 5-2-08 when i got woke up by folks that can't seem to read the sign that says your closed till 7:30

Craig list addiction

Ok i have to admit that i have become addicted to Craig's list, Have you used Craig's list?
So Sunday i got on there and saw were there was Pergo flooring for sale, used because the lady bought the house and decided that she had to have new and real flooring on her floor. So this is what she took out of her home and her mother wanted it to put in her home, but only to find that she didn't know how to install it and called someone who was going to charge her $700.00 to install it, highway robbery to old folks isn't it? Well anyway good for me as she put it on Craig's list for $95.00. I have been wanting wood flooring for some time, as having all my fur babies the floor is always getting barfed on, not a easy clean up at times. It would of cost us around $600.00 to buy new and then another $50.00 for the padding, still have enough to do the floor in the motor home as i want to get rid of that carpet.

So last week I got on there and I found someone that was just giving away 4 toilets, well thinking that these toilets were probably older than what we had here, but decided to look anyways, well come to find out these toilets were like brand new, what a find was that?
So I guess i better get busy and off of here and look again for something great and yeh now that i have a new floor i also bought some paint to paint the living room. LOL More work that I really don't like doing. Notice how Princess really loves the new flooring. Not too sure about the cats yet as they slip and slide when they run thru the house.
