Vacation Time

Well i know i havn't been on here much for a few months. But hope to get back on here very soon. With all the baby kittens i have fostered this summer, i think things are slowing down some. But also think this will be my last time of fostering. Yes i have accumulated a few doing this, which is not a good thing, as i sure didn't need anymore cats, but they have turned out to be special kittens that i just don't have the heart to let go of. Oh well what is one more mouth to feed right? Well actually there is 3 more mouths to feed.

This is Freckles he is a special needs kitty, he will only eat canned food, no matter how much i have left him go hungry he will only eat the can food. Great kitten, i would let him be adopted but only if someone was willing to feed him canned food.

Here is Brooster and Alice, Brooster being the smaller one, I got her when she was only a day old, cold and frail she was found by someone at a trailer court and he didn't know what to do with her, well she is well and healthy and spoiled rotten, being 6 weeks old now she still isn't eating on her own, still wants a bottle and to be fed out of a syringe with chicken baby food, darn if she don't eat the whole jar now. Alice the bigger black kitty is very special to me as i had her when she was only 16 days old along with 4 other siblings who all died. She is so sweet and loving, absolutely loves to be cuddled . She comes to bed and loves to curl up by your neck. Such a sweetie pie......
Anyways we left for vacation last month on the 17th of Sept. and we are now making our way back home. Funny how a month can go by so quickly when your away from home.
Anyway they are all great travelers in the motor home along with there big cages that i have had to make room for so that they are secure when we are driving, but watch out when we are parked as they make good use of that time running all over the motor home. Can't wait to see what there going to do when they get home... Oh yes i have 3 other babies that we took along as well.
This is left to right, Honey, Cooper, & Ralphie plus all our other cats yup call us the mobile cat house.
Anyway will start posting about our trip to Utah and Az

Camera Critters

I know this isn't a real horse but i did want to share him as i think the person that did him was magnificent. Today was the Sisters Quilt Show and i decided that it was time to visit again, although i don't quilt, i do like looking. And i have to say what a show it was. I will be posting more about the quilt show on my other blog.
I thought i would share the newest photos of Shelby who i decided to bring back to the house. She is looking so much better and is coming out more and more and enjoying the freedom of being able to roam in the office and the laundry room

Here is little Freckles, boy for a little tyke he has the spunk of thinking he is the ruler of the house and the cats. I can't put him with any other kittens because he will beat them up, he is so tough. I will hold him and he will be all cuddly and the next thing i know he is slapping me with his paws or trying to bite me. But he is so darn cute when he is so fiesty. It will be awhile before he will be up for adoption.

Well I thought i would try to do another round of Yellow Mellow Monday, its been awhile but sure do miss blogging. So here is my broken little yellow vaccum that i really did like for picking up cat hair and litter on the hard wood floor. And this is Freckles looking at it, and trying to figure out how he can attack it, he loves to attack everything. He is only 1 lb 8 oz and thinks that he is 30 lbs and a lion.

Some of my baby kitties

Well i thought i would share a few of the kittens i have and are gone now. For those of you that have been reading my blog for awhile now know that i am a foster mom for kittens. So these are a few of the latest. The early one all were adopted and now are with there forever homes and doing very well.
Also for those that read my earlier posts from my first foster care from Shelby, anyway she had gone to the cattery after being spayed, still feral and has gotten sick. No one still has been able to befriend her. So Nevada and i have decided to bring her back here were she did seem to come out of her shell, so last night they brought her back to me, and oh she looks so sad and so weak and sick. Not sure if she remembers me but she let me pet her and she loved getting the treats i used to give her. Will keep updating on her with photos.

Camera Crittters

I'm Back!!!
Well after several weeks of not blogging because i have had my hands full with 13 baby kittens, 8 of them finally got to go to there forever homes. Last week. I still have one left from Shelby's baby as she finally made weight to be spayed this next Tuesday.
So things are not as hectic around here now for a bit.
I still have Oscar, Dallas, & Marooch.
I also got a new set of 5 babies with there mom, but she is a wonderful mom who is taking very good care of her babies so that will really help. The first fostering of kittens all had a lot of problems which took a lot of time. I miss my babies and i think that is the hardest thing about being a foster provider but there is so many babies out there that need it and if you know they went to a good home it makes it worth it.Who knows what would of happened to them if left in the environment they were found in.

camera critters/ yellow mellow monday

Click on the side bar and join others from around the world for there camera critters and yellow mellow monday
Going to combine camera critters and yellow mellow monday this week.
Boy it has been a hectic week for me and the kitties, last weekend i preadopted all nine kittens so they all have homes to go too when they are ready to be altered, I think they all will have a wonderful life with there new owners. i know i will miss them when they go. But also releaved, at this age they really are a lot of fun but also a lot more work, keeping them clean and there bedding clean, there at the age were the transition of feeding real food and formula is a bit of a messy situation most times. Lots of cat box cleaning several times a day. I find i don't have the computer time i used to have, my apologies to those i didn't get to visit last time.
The cattery wants them to be at least 2 lbs before they can be fixed so they have a couple more weeks to go. I think they weigh about a 1 1/2 lbs now. So here is little Milo which his forever parents named him, he is so cute and well as you can see so relaxed and comfortable here. His little brother is identical to him accept a bit smaller.
So then last week we got these little guys coming for a visit, we had just started up the waterfall and i started luring the ducks to the pond so that they could get water, well never really thinking that they would get in it, but here they are having a nice bath. well love the wild life BUT i forgot that they also leave you nice squishy yucks on the ground and in the pond. Not good when one wants to sit in the yard and enjoy it.Oh well i guess it can be cleaned up, another job that will need to be done.
Ok so the yellow is the beaks of the ducks

Well i have missed some Meme's this week so i am sorry i didn't get to you this week in some of the other meme's. But this past weekend all of the 9 foster kittens were pre adopted out, although they still have a few weeks to go they have found some good homes i believe, and hope and pray for. They all seemed like nice folks and loving homes, when they get to there forever homes. Anyway the older the kittens get the more attention they seem to need and i like to make sure they all have lots of attention. Oh yeh and cleaning is on top of the attention they need. LOL No momma on 7 of them so someone has to keep them clean.
Anyway the temperatures here has been beautiful and yesterday and today we worked in the yard all day. We got one of the water fountains fixed and remade cause 2 of the pond liners were broken so had to go find a replacement, wouldn't ya know it no such luck at either Lows' or Home Depot so had to make do with what they had. So here is my fountain that has been revised to make it fit. Not bad, actually like it better there.I sure am ready to plant some flowers but around here one has to learn not to get anxious in planting.

Camera Critters/3 adoptions today

Please click on side bar and join Misty and others for more great photos of critters

Well this weekend we had 3 adoptions, Both of Shelby's girls was adopted out by some very nice people. Francie on the left was named that by her new parents. Once they are ready to go Francie will be a traveler in a motor home so she will have lots of new places to explore so that will be fun for her, i know all our cats love to travel.
And then there is Lilli Rose, that is what her new momma wanted to name her. She has other cats as well and also is a pet sitter so she has found a good place to be as well. Her momma said that she wanted to name her a flower name and mine was name was pretty and so she dubbed me her godmother. I was honored.
So then today Sammy's little girl got adopted as well and by golly her new mom and daughter wanted to name her Lilli as well. The daughters name is Rose so again it may be another Lilli Rose. I think they also like the spelling of my name. Again i am honored to have 2 beauties named after me. So it will be a few more weeks before they are ready to go to there forever home. I know they will be loved and cared for. Sure will miss them when they do go. That will be the hardest part of doing this volunteering of caring for babies.
