I have no idea at all but I can feel the buzz of yester years when the barn were kept busy
I have read some reports (most notably to me National Geographic about the flight from the countryside in the US. It is happening all over the world, but it is sad never the less.
My kind of pictures. Great shots Lilli!
fascinating structures
Yes who knows what they would tell us. Nice pictures of those barns, I like the tree too.
So sad to see them just wasting away...
I think the family had a lot of fun but also a lot of hard work.
Very nice pictures.
I love old barns and houses. Great capture of these.
What kind of tree is that closest to the fence on the bottom picture? The trunk is interesting.
Oh, the chickens on my blog belong to my neighbor and they furnish us with fresh eggs.
My thoughts exactly ... our minds work the same way!
Geez, how I'd Love to snoop and dig around that place!!lolol...have a fun one!!hughugs
Andrea,
That is a Juniper tree. Lots of those around here
I like your blog, your cats, and your idea of traveling around the USA. Aren't Sundays great for driving around? I think I will take my camera next time I go.
When I see old forgotten buildings such as housed a family I do feel a sadness. The old walls would have echoed to all the fun and laughter.. and like most family's it would have known their sad times as well. To be able to touch those boards and gleam their knowledge would be a wonderous thing...

Hee! I also love taking photos of old rundown structures and wonder about their history. :)
I like them very much.
Good shots.
