In 1994 we bought the motel, This fellow was here so not sure just how old he is, but with all the elements of the weather i think he is aging quite well, don't you think?

Interesting sculpture. I wonder if there is a date or signature on the bottom.
Likely he is old but is still a beautiful creation!
I love stuff like that . . . I wonder why no one takes off with it since it isn't anchored down. . .
We have a wooden frog (that has been carved ) on a corner of a downtown street. I should post a photo one day of it.
We also had an artist come and carve a tree many years ago. It was in the park. The bottom of it started to rot so they removed it and put it in the museum. Some where I have a photo of it. I should rustle up that one too. BUT that would mean I would have to get my scanner working again. . . it was before I had my digital camera.
Nice photo and amazing features. I have a quiz in my post today. You might like to view them. :)http://alicesg.blogspot.com/
You bet Lilli...ageing graciously for sure :D
I agree! An interesting looking fellow. Wish we knew more about him.
Wonder what he'd say if he could talk?!!!LOL...hughugs
Why do we feel he is a fellow? Could it be a girl? Child? Pig tails? :) Native American? Hey!! Nothing.
Just wanted to show ya I have more than a question mark. :)
What is the name of your motel?
gmj,
here is my website http://www.jbmailroom.com/tomtom
And yes it is Native American statue
Sure, I think so!
Just dropping by to say Hello!
That's very cool. Mom says if you sanded his head just a little, you can use him as a side table. hehehe.
what a treasure
Not only he is aging well, but also he is beautiful ...
He has weathered well, it would be interesting to find out more about him.
I'd say he has aged beautifully.
Aging well, indeed! Such an interesting looking character.
I think you are lucky no one has decided they want it for their place!
