The Rocky Mountain Retreat
Are they going away or coming your way? I'm always so fascinated by the migration pattern of our feathered friends.
How glad I am that spring is finally here - yes!

wonderful series! the few times I've seen some birds in their flight like that, I never could capture them! :)
great catch! In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west, the people create distinctions out of their own minds and then beleive them to be true… mine’s up too hope you can drop by
Are they arriving ? I love to see bird groups !
Very lovely shots. I like the photos with all the birds. Well done:)
Wow migratory birds. Lucky you could capture them.

It's nice hearing the birds flying over. I like your yesterday's photo too with the bird crossing the road. Or, at least that's what it looked like it was doing.

You've captured the patterns of the birds perfectly. I'm enjoying your blog!
Reminds me of the Hitchcock film "The Birds"...........
I don't believe I've ever seen that many. It kinda resembles Frankenstein's stitchwork, doesn't it?
I'm constantly amazed at all the different variations of sky photos people post on Fridays. Love your bird sky photos, Lilli!
Migratory birds always give great spectacles

Wow beautiful photos of the birds. I wondered where they are heading. Have a nice weekend. :)
Brilliant pictures! I have yet to capture the birds doing this. I hear them coming and run for my camera but then they are gone. Maybe in the sky is the only place you can get this shot!
Perfect sky watch photos, Lilli.
A superb sky watch contribution!
Great pics! Look at all those birds.
Well, whatever direction they were flying, I know they make a lot of noise!
I'm thinking where are the birds going? Wouldn't California be the ideal spot to winter over? LOL But somehow that gray looks cold to me, perhaps they know best!
Great bird shots!
I just love seeing these long ropes of birds in the sky. You have a nice collection. Thanks for sharing!
