Here is a place called the Pak-it place, do you have one of these? This guy has so much junk that it is pathetic. He used to be located in the Old Mill District before they redid that part of town. Well anyway he moved over here and when he first moved we thought oh good he is going to be a lot more organized, well that only last for a short time. He just keeps getting stuff and more stuff, This is only the outside of the place, the inside is even worse. So buying anything from here is more frustrating then anything i care to do, but once in awhile hubby will say lets stop and see if he has this or that. Most of the time he doesn't and if he did you can usually buy it cheaper new..... click on the photos for better viewing
So here is a artist i guess you can call him that cause he is using some of the junk to put together this thing. What do you think? Pretty neat huh?

Why, it's a "junkyard dog"! I think he chewing up a can of beer? We had a place like this in Ok., but I haven't seen one in the valley.
One mans junk is another mans treasure I say... :O).
I would find myself strolling around such a place
I think that's what you call "folk art". I like it but yes that is really a junky place!
How does the city allow him to have all that junk? I think the "animal" is scary looking. I can't imagine placing it on my lawn or even in the back yard if I had either.
LOL....OhMy!!!....Happy Hunting Girl!hughugs
Amazing stufd made from recycled items! The 'leopard' replica looks good :)
Looks like a giant fire/weenie roast waiting to happen! =8^O

Amazing how in the middle of all that junk you found a piece of art!
Clever
Very artistic....maybe more housekeeping would prevent a fire hazard ya.
I agree that it is definitely junkie, but like Quint, a piece of art in the middle of the whole place. Actually the piece is quite impressive.
I think we should call in Mission Organization though.
There is a lot of junk I would hate to have to look at it all the time but I would love to go there and see what I could find. Ranger and Lloyd.
Any old Iron??
Interesting theme for SW, great shots and great skies too.
Pop over and see my skies from Belvoir Castle grounds,
I think an artist with a great imagination and a wonderful sense of humour would LOVE this place. Not me, though. ;-)
I reserve judgement until I have looked at this a little more. Hmmmm.
Come visit,
Troy and Martha
