Our trip to the coast took us to this park which i thought the name was Odd but as we entered the park there was another sign i thought was Odd, and a bit scary, as i am guessing that children may also use this park, Sorry for more than one photo but just wanted you to see the setting. Great shots sweetie...Jack Ripper???Hahaaa.....hughugs
Maybe the trees are close to water and could topple over into it if climbed? How else could a tree be hazardous? Weirdly odd!
The trees in the last pictures made me think of Tolkien's Ents, so maybe one of them was a ripper too?
(I have a sign too...)
Does Mr. Ripper own the park, do you suppose. Very Odd.
The signs inside were more weird than the name of the park! I say it could be a warning to dogs....don't get too close now! LOL....
I am sorry but I had to snort when I scrolled down and read the 1st sign. Sick sense of humor that I have. How can trees be hazardous? This is a great post. Mine is up now but beware...
weird signs!
Those trees are creepy looking. I'd be afraid old Jack was hiding behind one. lol
That is a strange name for the park. I don't see anyone there. I feel bad for the gentleman with that name.
Now that's an awful name, lol ! The one who put this sign probably didn't know that he was a serial killer !
Okay, if you read it carefully it does say that the trees are potentially hazardous. The grammar leaves much to be desired. Trees can be hazardous for a number of reasons--limbs that are ready to fall, disturbed root system. But I read the sign at first as two separate things. Leaving the potential hazardous behind as I read--park has trees--use at your own risk. So, are you supposed to use the trees at your own risk--or the park? LOL
As to Jack Ripper--looks like that is a popular sign for pranksters to purloin.
