This week has been hard for us as we have lost 3 of our babie kitties to there forever homes. But i think that they found good homes. We miss them.
Ivey was the first to go, On Sunday her new family came to get her, she went to a nice family that lives in Culver. I got an email from them and this is what they had to say.
(Ivey was a little scared the first day but she is getting comfortable with her surroundings and wants to run and explore the rest of the house. We have been keeping her in Maries bedroom the first couple of days till she gets settled in. She is eating well and has quite the purr box. I will try to get some pictures to you in the next couple of weeks.)
Then on Tues Morris (Orange Tabby ) went to his forever home with an older couple that live in Sunriver, they got Morris to be a companion with there other cat.I got an email from them yesterday and this is what they had to say,
Hi,
Thanks very much for the photos. Buddy (his new name I think) is doing just fine. The first day was a bit stressful for him, what with the new surroundings and our other cat, and of course us, but he slept that first night through and now today is running around and playing like crazy. He's going to fit in just perfectly. When he's awake, he meows constantly!! He also sits on our laps, especially in the evening while we're watching the tube, for extended periods, and even takes naps. Thanks again. Don't hesitate to check in on us whenever you like!
Regards,
Dick & Diane.....and Buddy & Missy!!
And then on Friday Haley went to her new forever home, She was being purchased for his wife as they had no animals and his wife wanted a kittie, so she was a Valentine Present to her. Have not heard anything yet but i am sure i will.
They are truly missed buy us, but so happy that they have a good home.

Hope they did find good Forever Homes. Love the birdies in the tree.
they were fortunate. I have 3 homes needed at present.,.sandy
Ohw, I can imagine you miss them, they have such sweet little faces. Happy they all found a good home. And the birds must be delighted ;-)
Years ago we adopted a homeless momma cat and her kittens. We cried like babies as one by one they left for their new homes and finally momma also.
Great picture of the birds in the tree.
What sweet kitties. Sounds like they all went to good homes and that's all you can ask for.
Mine is up over at Feather, Fur and Fins
Ahhhh how sweet. Every animal needs a forever home.
I can imagine you must feel a little sad but I'm glad the kitties have good homes, this is good news... the bird shot in the trees is spectacular!
Happy ♥ Day!
Glad your kitties all found good homes.
Looks like the birds are looking for the feeder!
the bird shot is amazing
Making themselves at home with their new families just shows how you helped them so much... what's better than a loving family.
The letters from the new owners are so sweet - as are the faces of all the cats :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
I have 1 dog and 2 cats and can't immagine parting with any of them - that must have been really hard for your family, but it's good they all have good homes :) Loving all the birds in the tree as well
Have a great weekend and valentines day
I stopped by your other blog first and left a comment over there.
But what a great look on Morris! And I love the illusion of Ivey's nose! It makes me laugh.
They will be having a good home, I'm sure of that !
The bird-tree is fantastic !
Have a nice day !
Lilli: Pets are with us for a season and as long as we have treated them well we can have that joy.
How did the lone Robin land in the tree with all the Cedar Waxwings. What a neat capture.
I can't get over Ivey's markings... how gorgeous!
Love the bird shot... that is really neat.
I'm sure they have wonderful forever homes. I'm going to miss them. Especially Ivey.
Really good bird shot.
I'm so glad some kitties got good homes. :) And I love Waxwings! Cactus always make me happy and miss my Texas cacti garden.
What adoreable kittens!! Ivey's markings remind me of the first of my cats to go over the rainbow! But forever homes are important - there is a limit to the number of cats one can keep!
Oh Lilli! How wonderful that all three kitties have forever homes. But I certainly understand your sadness. You nurtured them along for so long. I hope you find peace in knowing that you gav them all a good start.
