Do you see anything odd about this tree? Look in the top right the brown spot, better if you enlarge the photo. I Thought it was a mushroom growing so thought i would get a better look and photo. Scroll down for what it really is
I was surprised when i took a stick to really make sure it wasn't a mushroom,But now i wonder how a pancake got up there? LOL

I share your wonder. It must be the climate change!
It does look like a mushroom. Love your photo of the old tree, with the buildings and hills behind it.
Rminds me of the tree in Sleppy Hollow, and that was freaky.
Maybe it is a pancake tree!
HAHahahaha....Faries!! Fun Photo!!!hughugs
Great tree......the mushroom and the pancake?mmmmmmmmmmm
Well, a squirrel was up there and the kd walking along eating his pancake decided to share it BUt the squirrel ran away and the pancake stuck because of the syrup. . . Ü
Great catch! I love the tree trunk too!
That's a cute odd shot. When you said it wasn't a mushroom I decided it was a grapefruit half. Now that's no stranger than a pancake! lol
lol! change of diet for the tree!!
Maybe it was hungry. Its 'mouth' is more than big enough for it! :D
My Odd Shot is A slight disconnect.
That's odd!!!! It's a breakfest tree.
Now what character that old tree has. If only it could tell all the sights it has seen and could solve the pancake mystery.
I think Tom Tom is really showing your son how thankful he is to have a wonderful home. He knows who sat him up in this wonderful place he calls home. Peace
Hmmmm.... odd.... that's just way toooooo funny!! Awesome post! The comments are hilarious!

great tree
as for the PANCAKE,
ummmmmmmmmmm Goldilocks been there?
You got good eyes to spot that. I think some critter dragged it up there to snack on it later. If you look on the other side of the tree, there might be some syrup. :D
I guess there was a pancake race there and someone lost their pancake when tossing it.lol.
Thanks for your visit and kind comments on my Lily.
How clever - I enlarged the photo and still thought it was a mushroom. I had to scroll down to get the answer.
How ever did it get there!
a pancake in a tree that is pretty strange. I love the previous flower shots. Lloyd and Ranger.
That's totally hysterical, Lilli!
The things people discard! I am suirprised some animal didn't find that!
Wow, that is really strange! Quite a mystery. :-) Did you by any chance look around for Mrs. Butterworth?
I'm sorry, I'm still laughing. :) I would assume a kid put it there. But it's pretty funny - - - Oh I know! That's a pancake tree. :)
Great tree!...Maybe somebody left their uneaten pancake there for the birds?????
