The CA desert can be so beautiful, Lilli, especially in early spring when the flowers of the desert find the water runoffs before the ground is arid. Maybe you'll find them?

Were you driving along the 58 or 40 when you shot these pics? I think they are nice shots, but sorry, i do not find it beautiful. ;) I'd have to agree with AVCR8TEUR that only scorpions and rattlesnakes SHOULD live there, but I know a lot of people who love living there. I still have family who lives there even.

Your mountains are stunning... WOW... incredible shots... those grazing sheep are pretty neat as well... I don't think I've seen that many at once! LOL Fun post!
