Sky Watch Friday

I want to also say that last weeks Sky Watch photos were taken by my son who flew to California. I asked him to take photos for me. If you ever read my profile you will find that i would never fly on a plane again. Ok call me chicken. But i do like my feet planted firmly on the ground. Thanks so much for all the great comments on those photos and the messages have been forwarded to my son.

It seems that after the storms we had last week, it blew in some great spring like weather, The temperatures during the day have been close to 65 degrees around here. But they say all things come to an end next week. Snow in the forcast at least we havn't had the cold spell they have been getting back east.

Those are nice SWF images. Great moon shot. You've had a lot of crazy weather over the past month. I hope the warmer temperatures hang around for a while. Hi from San Ramon.

Your photos are beautiful. I really like the blue sky with the fluffy cloud.
I dont blame you about not flying on a plane, they can be scary.
Happy SWF.

Nice shots for Sky Watch. I like the cloud formations in the second one and of the moon is always nice. MB

We have spring-like weather here as well, but we need the rain. But the weather produced nice photos. The last photo looks like it was taken in San Francisco with the fog rolling in.

I missed your pictures last week so I went back and took a look. They were really good. I don't blame you about the plane I've never been in one and don't plan on it either. Just call me chicken!

Nice pictures, the one with the moon is wonderful.
I've been in a plane only three times in my life, not much comparing to some other people.
It's a long way down better not think about that. lol.

I don't blame you for not wanting to fly. The airports are too crowded and going through security is a mess.
I like your moon in the branches shot. The pink sky over the city is lovely, too.

Really nice set of sky shots. I think my favorite though is the swirling white clouds. Then again, that moon shot is pretty cool. :-)

Did the New York plane accident confirm your fear of flying?
I enjoy flying, it is getting through the airports that gets me.
I just bought the Nat. Geographic topographic maps on CD for Washington and Oregon, found a coupon online and sent for the California set. these maps also work with my GPS reciever, now for some exploring (if I can find the time).
The quality of the maps is very good on screen and printed out on paper

Hi Lilli
Great catching up with you again...and great Sky Watching from you.
I to don't fly... I have in the past but never liked it at all...
The pictures on the News this week about the plane landing in the Hudson river are truely something else... what a hero that pilot is.

I guess the news yesterday did not help with the thought of flying. I like all the photos but I love the contrast in the last photo. How are the kitties? Have they found homes yet?
Peace
