Crooked River Prineville Or

Well its been awhile since i posted on my blog. For those of you that have followed me will remember that i am doing fostering for CRAFT a no kill shelter for cats. Well this is kitten season and they have had me on the go with those, 13 of them. most of them now are with there forever families. But more are coming in the next day or two.
Anyway i thought while i had the chance i would share a few photos of our trip that we did this past weekend. I have a Rver's Yahoo group that we get together every yr and it is usually the weekend after Memorial so here is a couple of photos for

You are going to do it again?
NOT 13 of them?!!
glad you got a break and got out even if it was just around the corner from home. Good to hear you are doing okay.

I don't do this for the Humane Society, they are not a no kill shelter. I took some babies there a few yrs ago because we were leaving for vacation they were from a feral cat and the kittens were not tame. The lady at the shelter asked if they had been handled and i said no i just found them, she told me that they do not have the time to tame them so they will be uthenized, i was so upset to this day i have felt so bad that i didn't take the kittens back. I don't consider them humane at all. The CRAFT is a no kill for cats. She does everything to make sure that the cats either find homes or she keeps them forever if they are not adopted. Some of them have many medical problems so most people don't want them.

Magnificent views! And absolutely perfect for WW.

And my goodness, 13 kittens? Good luck, and I think you're wonderful for volunteering for it!

Very scenic! Thank you for being a foster cat mom, if that is the right terminology. I can't imagine taking care for so many cats! Do you get any sleep? :)

Beautiful scenery! Gorgeous!

Good luck with the kitties. I just finished bottle feeding a little of 5, and caring for an abandoned Mama and her 3 babies. It never ends, does it?!

Such beautiful country. I remember gathering some very colorful agate near the Crooked River out of Prineville. Nice place to gather.
