This is what many of the buildings looked like inside so there is a lot of restoring to do in these old places.

The interiors look royal. Great shots all of them.
Lilli,
What an interesting tour. The restoration really would be quite an undertaking. Some of those bars (or what look like bars) seem to be in great shape...
What a fascinating place. Thanks for sharing!
I just Love these old buildings!!!hughugs
These are great photos! I love going to places like that and exploring. It's like being transported to another time!
Great stuff, Lilli! That side view of the bar has a haunted feel. Wonderful.
I guess that if they restore the whole set it could be a very nice attraction and a living history lesson!
Nevada has a lot of cool ghost towns. Like Bodie and Aurora. I love it. Have a great WW. :)
What an interesting place to visit! Thanks for sharing! :)
I think i see a ghost in the 5th picture from the top. In the right window, 1st column, 2nd row, 1st panel. looking out at you as you take the photo. Spooky.
That looks like an awesome place to investigate... we have a similar place like that here, sort of like a ghost town that they have restored and they are always neat to learn about the heritage of them from way back... great post!
Fabulous pictures
Great information
lots of wordless shots! nice one for WW! mine's up too, hope you'll drop by.
I loved the colors and peeling paint (wallpaper) in the first one - so glad you shared these!
Very interesting and excellent images.
Very interesting!
After restorations, I'm sure the place will sparkle :)
I believe that this ghost town should be moved to a population center before it is restored. More people could visit it that way.
My grandfather and grandmother had a motel in Warrenton, Oregon, off old U.S. 1.
Their operation wasn't that profitable so they could buy an RV. Grandpa had to do bookkeeping at the lumber yard as well.
..
Happy WW/WT, you are welcome to come back next week.

I've never seen any pictures like this. As my sister (who loves antiques) would say, "I can see the potential!" For real! This is really cool!
Cool pics...Id love to see it up close and personal:) Happy WW and thanks for stopping by.
Loved those vintage shots!
Very interesting indeed, I've enjoyed this :D
Looks like quite the place! I'd love to visit there one day too. :)
Very interesting information and photos. Glad that they are restoring them.
Interesting local history, but I can see that it needs quite an effort to keep them up.
An interesting place to explore. Thank you for supporting my first WW.
Thanks for sharing this. Really very interesting shots! :-)
Awesome post! Loved the photos and the history.
Beautiful place! I can't wait to see what it will look like after restoration! Thanks for visiting mine
Have a great day!
This place certainly as a beauty about it.. do you know if this was over here in England it would be trashed by now.. or simply burnt to the ground. I'm so glad to it still intact, even if it is in need of repairs.
As always wonderful involving photos! Daryl
These are at least as neat as the hotel, maybe more. I hope they can keep the charm after renovation. Awesome shots!
This looks like a place I would love to visit. I had no idea such a place existed. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Those building sure do need a whole lot of luvin'. I read about the assay building....very interesting!
I hope they restore it. I love historical buildings restored. I wonder if that Howard was OO Howard who we have a house here at the Fort named after him because he lived there. lol
Great photos. I felt almost dizzy looking at some of those photos because of the angles. Makes me think about Lombard street in San Fran.
