Sky Watch Friday

I took these Wed night as we have been having some pretty good storms the last few days, having temperatures to 104 on the weekend and then going to this, although it isn't cold it makes for humid days that we are not used too.

Here i caught a rainbow, it was really bright but by the time i ran in the house to grab the camera and came out it was practically gone. )-:

Great photos for sky watch friday, it is fun to watch nature unhold in stormy weather as long as you are safe and dry. Rainbows are hard to photograph but yours is lovely. Thanks for sharing and your kind comments on my post earlier.

You got some very dramatic stormy shots. I also love the rainbow in the last one. I know about grabbing my camera and not getting what I planned on but you still got a nice touch of the rainbow.

A beautful series of photos.I'm glad you managed to capture the rainbow, they do have a habit of disappearing quickly, don't they.It make me think sometimes that maybe us SW people should walk round with our cameras permanently round our necks, lol.

Rainbows are difficult to catch!
Temps of 104º are toasty! No doubt cooler days are welcome! "Louis" was happy to see that you had stopped by!

Storm photos are exciting to catch. Rainbows not so easy. I saw lovely colours at sunset last night but by the time I went out with my camera they had gone.

Those do look like some dark storm clouds. That is one nice side effect of TS Fay - she's kept the temperatures in the mid 80s for a few days since the sun can't break through the clouds! :)

Wonderful set of photographs. Those clouds are beautiful. And last two pictures grabs me - those leaves make the photo almost mystical, and the rainbow among the despondently grey clouds is so hopeful.
Thank you for dropping by my blog and nice comment. Have a nice day and happy SWF:-)
