Click on the side bar and join others from around the world for there camera critters and yellow mellow monday Going to combine camera critters and yellow mellow monday this week. Boy it has been a hectic week for me and the kitties, last weekend i preadopted all nine kittens so they all have homes to go too when they are ready to be altered, I think they all will have a wonderful life with there new owners. i know i will miss them when they go. But also releaved, at this age they really are a lot of fun but also a lot more work, keeping them clean and there bedding clean, there at the age were the transition of feeding real food and formula is a bit of a messy situation most times. Lots of cat box cleaning several times a day. I find i don't have the computer time i used to have, my apologies to those i didn't get to visit last time. The cattery wants them to be at least 2 lbs before they can be fixed so they have a couple more weeks to go. I think they weigh about a 1 1/2 lbs now. So here is little Milo which his forever parents named him, he is so cute and well as you can see so relaxed and comfortable here. His little brother is identical to him accept a bit smaller.
So then last week we got these little guys coming for a visit, we had just started up the waterfall and i started luring the ducks to the pond so that they could get water, well never really thinking that they would get in it, but here they are having a nice bath. well love the wild life BUT i forgot that they also leave you nice squishy yucks on the ground and in the pond. Not good when one wants to sit in the yard and enjoy it.Oh well i guess it can be cleaned up, another job that will need to be done. Ok so the yellow is the beaks of the ducks

But this past weekend all of the 9 foster kittens were pre adopted out, although they still have a few weeks to go they have found some good homes i believe, and hope and pray for. They all seemed like nice folks and loving homes, when they get to there forever homes. Anyway the older the kittens get the more attention they seem to need and i like to make sure they all have lots of attention. Oh yeh and cleaning is on top of the attention they need. LOL No momma on 7 of them so someone has to keep them clean. Anyway the temperatures here has been beautiful and yesterday and today we worked in the yard all day. We got one of the water fountains fixed and remade cause 2 of the pond liners were broken so had to go find a replacement, wouldn't ya know it no such luck at either Lows' or Home Depot so had to make do with what they had. So here is my fountain that has been revised to make it fit. Not bad, actually like it better there.I sure am ready to plant some flowers but around here one has to learn not to get anxious in planting.

Well this weekend we had 3 adoptions, Both of Shelby's girls was adopted out by some very nice people. Francie on the left was named that by her new parents. Once they are ready to go Francie will be a traveler in a motor home so she will have lots of new places to explore so that will be fun for her, i know all our cats love to travel. And then there is Lilli Rose, that is what her new momma wanted to name her. She has other cats as well and also is a pet sitter so she has found a good place to be as well. Her momma said that she wanted to name her a flower name and mine was name was pretty and so she dubbed me her godmother. I was honored.
So then today Sammy's little girl got adopted as well and by golly her new mom and daughter wanted to name her Lilli as well. The daughters name is Rose so again it may be another Lilli Rose. I think they also like the spelling of my name. Again i am honored to have 2 beauties named after me. So it will be a few more weeks before they are ready to go to there forever home. I know they will be loved and cared for. Sure will miss them when they do go. That will be the hardest part of doing this volunteering of caring for babies.
I thought this was such a cute photo of Pumpkin which he is called at the present time till he goes to his forever home .
And this is the ducks that have been hanging around at the end of the motel, well they moved to the side yard, so had to throw them some more bread, i just love it when wildlife comes to visit me in the middle of town.
And Misty asked to see the bull's eye on Tom Tom he has the same marking on the other side. This is also the outside cat house that Nevada has been building, last weekend we found a sliding glass door for the bedroom and cut out the wall to put it in so the cats can go outside and enjoy the sunshine whenever it gets here.

Finally , it has happened the temperature today got to be 60 degrees and look what it brought out to see the world
I got these at Costco yesterday waiting to be planted but will keep them under cover for another month as the temp around here drop a lot at night and heck we have seen it snow in June, but if i don't buy them now they won't be available when the weather is good enough to plant.
Please click on side bar and Join Misty and others from around the world for more critters When Tom Tom came into our family he always seemed to be the one that was so lovlable, he walked through the door and said here i am move over, all the cats just took to him never a hiss or a sqauk which is sort of unusual for cats. He has this circle around both sides of his belly that i was told they are called Bulls Eye tabby's maybe one day i can get that circle so i can post a photo here.
Now this was a surprise as i have had the geese coming but never ducks, nice to see them
I couldn't of got a better photo of the two of these, they posed so well don't you think?
We own a small motel that we bought in 1994 and have worked at successfully, but along with everything that has gone on with the economy we no longer run it as a motel. Plus were getting old, so just do monthly's now.
I got involved with a cat rescue CRAFT NO KILL SHELTER a couple of yrs ago and have started devoting my time to saving baby kittens lives,I am the head bottle baby momma for them,I have enjoyed doing babies over the yrs although sometimes its so sad when you can't save them, but so full filling when they finally find there forever homes and know they got a good one. Sad for me when they leave however.
Please leave a comment as i would love to hear from you.
