Cotton Picker

A few months ago Dot showed us some cotton bales, but i had never seen the machine so while we were in Quartzite we drove to Blythe Ca. where we ran into this Cotton PickerDo you know what this is?

I didn't know they grew cotton out that way.What the other thing is I have no idea but it's sure interesting looking.

I have seen cotton fields but have never seen it harvested. I would love to see that. I love to see cotton fields. So pretty. Your machinery is interesting.

As for your comment on my blog, yes, I think something might be stored in that old barn because there is a house very close to it.

I was just down in Palm Springs, On my next trip there, I will go to Blythe myself to see the cotton machines, sounds interesting

Not sure what the second photo is but I see a seat so it must be something to sit on and sort cotton? I wish I had a digital camera years ago when my family traveled around the United States and Canada and a bit of Mexico.
