Good Morning from Mississippi! Hope you have a great week. Keep up the good work here! That is really cool! Have not heard of either story! BTW, the two comments above are Spammers. They hit me too!

Wow, both great stories, I hope the balloon man had his camera with him.

I read about both, but didn't click that they were both from the same town. You obviously have interesting people who live there.

Sheesh! Glad I came by because otherwise I'd have missed out on these. ;-)

I only heard a lead in about the first but nothing on the second her in Nashville, TN. I did not care to continue watching the news to hear about the pg guy but if the lead in had been about balloon ride, I would have probably watched. Peace

I did see the balloon piece on the news. Brave or not so bright?

Yes, both were on the news here in Vancouver. The PG guy was really a woman who wants to be a man. The balloon/chair guy was nuts and an adventurer. I don't think either will be remembered as being from Bend in a few years.

I heard about it here in Ga on the news.

I heard about that lawn chair man too. What else is going to happen in your neck of the woods? lol
Thanks for thinking of me. I'm glad to finally be back on line.

Hi, here in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, I saw the one about the pregnant man, but not the balloons. I thought of you as i read it, after all it is not every day that Bend, Oregon finds its way into our local newspaper!

The guy with the lawn chairs cracks "Louis" up!
That hole in the cloud is quite geometric - it looks like a hexagon. "Louis", being a Packard nut, was reminded by this of Packard's use of the hexagon as one of their emblems.

Today, "Louis et Mme. la Vache celebrate their first anniversary
