Funny how some plants liked to be pruned very hard, isn't it? This bush looks very happy!

Wow, that's a pretty bush... if only they were real snowballs! I could use those in this heatwave! LOL

When I was a young teen I lived near a little elderly lady who had the prettiest snowball bush. She passed away several years ago but everytime I see a snowball bush I think of her.

very nice bush. Mine was damaged by last years drought. I thought I lost it but it is slowly sprouting back. Peace

This is beautiful. I think when you trim stuff back it looks even better than before.

I'm terrible at pruning - hate to cut plants back. WOW, it really works - all those gorgeous blooms!

That is such a pretty bush! Ours bloomed several months ago but they didn't last for long.

I inherited my snowball bush and it was so huge right beside my front porch that I had to cut it back and it hasn't bloomed but looks really healthy. Hoping it blooms again next year.

This one is beautiful!

Your odd shots from the previous post were pretty cool.

Absolutely beautiful! My church friend has a snowball tree. It looks just like that but is a tree.

Beautiful snowball bush. We had one in the front yard when I was growing up and when they widen the road, it was ran over by the big machines. It was nice to see one again in your photo.
Have a great week!

My husband does that a lot.....prunes until it looks to be near death and then...viola! ....a beautiful year of blooms...usually I don't mind what he does but he does get carried away with the chain saw from time to time.....about my daughter....for 4 weeks she is in a field study program and then for 3 weeks in a home study spanish program and then a girlfriend from New Zealand will meet up with her and THEN they will back pack....yikes doesn't even describe me.......but at least she won't be alone...as if that makes me feel THAT much better....thanks for asking!

Beautiful! I'm always surprised at how much one can cut back a bush and it just bounces right back more beautiful than ever! I never seem to be in control of mine, because I'm too often afraid to cut them.
