Sky Watch Friday

Click on side bar and join others from around the world for more Sky Watch photos

As we were driving to town i saw this cloud and thought, is that smoke coming from that cloud?Well maybe it looks more like a ribbon

And this is my very favorite cloud on the way home.

Ooooh! I love that last one, too! But they're all beautiful! We do have fantastic skies in Oregon and Washington, don't we? How lucky can you be? Thanks for sharing and Happy SWF!

Was that a huge white spaceship following you home? Wondeful capture - awesome cloud formation.

My post is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.

That first one is a unique trail, isn't it? I love the last, though! I had to look carefully to see that it was a cloud. :)

The cloud looks like a wave. Sometimes when I am driving I see the best sky shots, but can't pull over to take a picture. I invite you to come see my clearing sunshine. - Margy

I never have noticed a ribbon cloud before and the last cloud seems so huge. Very impressive photos!

Wow, what great shots of your clouds. I have read that clouds are the dust from God's feet as he walks by. I guess the ribbon cloud was his sash. Peace

I love that smoke (or whatever) ribbon. The last photo's cloud is most unusual, too. Great pics.

WOW! That last one is like a floating mountain. Very picant. The ribbon cloud is interesting too but I really fell for the composition of the middle picture. The landscape and sky are both lovely.

Lilli: That last photo is a Giant White Egret flying over. It is very unusual to see those in the sky. It must have blinked just as you took the photo because I see the eyelid. It must be an albino because the beak is also white.
