Day 2 Diamond Craters
As we left the round barn we stopped to see the Diamond Craters, Alice was much better today and riding like a trooper also had a few things to say about being able to ride on my lap instead of the dreaded cage.
Nevada standing on top of one of the Craters looking down, i had thongs on and so the walking on that lava was not all that appealing. Please go to the link above and read about this crater. As we left the round barn we stopped to see the Diamond Craters, Alice was much better today and riding like a trooper also had a few things to say about being able to ride on my lap instead of the dreaded cage.
So in the distance we saw what looked like smoke but as we got closer it was a roundup, the lazy mans way of rounding up cattle. I think it would of been much funner to use a horse to round the cattle up.
So for 3 or 4 miles we had to drive behind these critters while they made there way to better pasture.

How interesting. A four wheeler to round up cattle - that's something.
Alice looks like she's trying to say something. :)

(mommy loved this post and the next post about flowers, really wonderful)
Oh my, that's a lot of critters on the road and they sure do kick up a lot of dust. Looks like a moo-ving experience. ;)
Really neat look at the critters and the terrain.
Glad to hear Alice is feeling and riding better! Road congestion is right! WOW. I'm with you, looks like the lazy way to round-up the cattle!
Having traveled with a kitty in an RV I would say Alice is doing very well. The road was really congested, some days you just can't get there without running into traffic.
What an interesting life you lead. I have friends who travel with a black cat named Annie but I've never seen such an expression on a kitty before ... priceless ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Here's what MY black kitty's life is like.
Ooops ... I got so carried away with 'kitty talk' that I neglected to mention the mellow yellows. Wish I could help you naming those flowers but, alas, I have no clue. Thanks for your recent visit to Happily Retired Gal.
Hugs and blessings,
