when I was growing up I'd occasionally find little pieces of petrified wood. Haven't seen any in years.

Hope your Easter celebration was great! Mine was except for the rain but this afternoon, it stopped raining and I was able to go for a walk and take more photos of the tulips at the park.

Love that petrified wood tree trunk. My dad was a rock hound and we used to go to Wyoming and collect tree trunks that were petrified so he could cut and make things from the stone. Many a summer we rolled logs of it to the camper.

My Jane's cooking can have a similar effect on me... well most of her food can turn many a stomach... ha!..
