I have a good friend who lives in Crooked River Ranch. I'm assuming it's the same place. She moved there from California and loves it there. I still hope to visit her one of these days.

To answer your question about the pot of boiling bugs, I'm not quite sure what they were, but they looked like larvaes. And, I didn't buy or eat any. :D

Beautiful shot of the snow on the mountain, Lilli, but I'm not quite ready for snow yet. You can keep it in Oregon for another month or two.

Greetings from Juneau, Alaska!
Wow, what a beautiful shot of the Sisters. I remember as a child driving by these mountains on our many adventures to eastern Oregon.

We always made a pit stop at the Crooked River Bridge. It's definitely not the place for those scared of heights.

The geology of this region is absolutely amazing. Hopefully nothing will come of the "bulge" near the Sisters.
Have a great Saturday!:)

Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!
