Well i got caught up with the grandkids this last weekend so never got to post our first snow of the yr. altho this isn't much but a skiff this is the earliest we have seen snow since we have lived in Bend, going on 15 yrs. Now makes us wonder if this is going to be the yr people have told us about, they said we have not seen snow here yet, meaning that they had some terrible winters here, yrs ago. We have been pretty lucky not having too harsh of a winter the last few yrs.

I hate snow!! And I am really hoping that I don't have to see much this winter but I have a feeling it is going to be a bad winter. Already it is frosting outside on the ground - we went from 75 degrees one day to 36 degrees the next day. Last year up here it did not get cold until December but they say it was an odd winter - not looing forward to seeing a "normal" winter!!
It's the same here in the UK, every sign says it will be a bad one for us also... we have had very little show for years... I was out walking today, the woods are full of berries, theres Holly with that many berris the branches are sagging, more rosehip then I've ever seen, more hawthorn and Rowen. Crab apples have had a bumper crop, like I say the signs are there.
ou, a little frosting isn't bad, (especially if it's on cake). :)
It's hot again here (86 degrees) but it snowed at our hideaway twice already.
I wouldn't mind seeing a little snow.
Snow on our local mountains but none yet in our valley.....every year here is the bad one.
Oh Wow, is it very cold now?
